About Me
Hello. My name is Michelle O'Mahoney.
-
Are you struggling with day to day life?
-
Do you feel anxious, worried, lonely or depressed?
-
Do you feel angry or irritable at other people?
A little bit more about me...
I am originally from London, England.
I moved to New Zealand with my family in the year 2000. I then worked in Management for several years before retraining as a Counsellor, which is my passion.
I consider myself very lucky to finally be in a career I love so much. I am now a qualified Counsellor and Life Coach.
I am a compassionate, empathetic person who naturally provides supportive guidance to people. I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel more empowered, gain happiness and reach their goals in life.
Although I work with a wide range of clients, a particular passion of mine is working with young adults to help them overcome feelings of depression and anxiety, bullying, substance addiction and self-esteem issues.
I also work with adults to help them overcome issues of:
-
anxiety
-
depression
-
low self esteem
-
abuse or trauma issues
-
bullying
-
loss of direction and purpose
As a Counsellor and Life-Coach I utilize a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Inner Child Work, Mindfulness, Assertiveness Training and Person Centered Therapy.
Whatever issue you are facing, I can help you have the life that you have always dreamed of having.
I look forward to talking with you.
